I cant believe this. We have already been in London a month and we are off tomorrow to go to Africa. This has been an extremely fast month. We started off coming to London on a whim and we prayed that God would work everything out for us. It wasn’t to my suprise at all that we found ministry, a place to stay, and a great city to feel a little more like home in. The month flew with outreach, working with a minority group, and a week break for Christmas and New Years. This month I learned how easy it was getting caught up in the comforts of society. I was able to go to a Chelsea soccer game, the play Wicked, and Hillsong church which were all things I have dreamed of doing. But at the end of those days I was more drained then when I have been doing ministry. You see when you put yourself and your needs in front of spending time with the Lord those “worldly things” dont seem so satisfying. I have learned how crutial it is to spend time with God daily. I also really feel like London was a glimps of how life is going to be like after the race. The world and the temptations are still going to be there. I know that God is going to be my strength in those times, it whether I rely on him or myself for that strength.
So tomorrow I will go into Africa with an open heart and an open mind. I have no clue what is in store for us. I know the spiritual atmosphere is nothing like I have ever seen but I know its going to be great for my squad. I also know most of our comforts will be gone. We will be living out of our tents and eating who knows what. But I pray that the LORD uses us for miracles, to love on people, and to bring hope to hurting nations.
We will be flying into South Africa just temporarily. Then our squad will then split and team joy alongside the team gracers and Pie, will make our way up North on a 20 plus hour bus ride. We will be doing ministry the month of Janurary in Mozambique. There we will work with orphans and also train pastors. Thats really all I know.
So goodbye London, Hello Mozambique.
Thanks everyone for all your prayers throughout my whole journey. Your prayers are rocking my world and God is moving in huge ways in my life. Please continue to pray. I wont have as much contact in Africa so blogs will be few and far between but I still love you all.
