Have you ever heard the saying children are miracles? I have heard that saying a million times and always thought it was true but never really understood the importance. I began getting that expression when my sister in law gave birth to my beautiful nephew Andrew who is 2 1/2 now. He is a miracle, and i have so much love for him i cant even begin to explain.

And theres also the kids of some friends af my at church (my small group leaders Chris and Nikki). They have two beautiful girls Emily and Madison. Just hearing little two year old madison say my name brings me great joy and seeing Emily run up to me and give me a big hug is priceless.

Theres also the kids my mom babysits who have become my brothers and sisters. Spending time with children all over the world for the next 11 months will be such an amazing thing. I love children with all my heart, they are precious creations by God. Children have such an amazing innocence about them and they love with no strings attached.

My whole point to saying any of this is we are God’s children. He has unconditional, heavenly, unexplainable love for all of us.  A love that will never be replicated by anyone. Im so blessed he has poured that love on me so i can in return get to pour it on the children all over the world the next 11 months.

Psalm 33:5
The LORD loves righteousness and justice; the earth is full of his unfailing love.
