It’s hard to believe that our first week is already coming to an end.  So much has happened that I don’t even know where to begin.  This week has been jam-packed with arrival, worship, prayer, eating (the food is wonderful), running, team time, leadership meetings, teachings from Gary and Lisa Black about spiritual gifts, the Holy Spirit, and much more.

There were times during the course of the week where I found some of the above to be a bit challenging or tiring, but overall I found my time to be both an exciting and productive.

The Lord continues to stretch me, daily.  I am thankful that He has placed me in a safe environment where I am challenged and encouraged to grow deeper in my relationship with Him and take our relationship to another level.
Monday we will begin our first week of ministry here in Manila with Kids International Ministries (KIM).  For more information on the organization check out their website at www.kidsinternationalministries.org or check out this blog posted by my squadmate Melissa:

I couldn’t be more excited to serve this community and share the Good News of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ as opportunities arise.

Please continue to keep our squad in your prayers.  We have four teams working at the Children’s Home here with K.I.M two teams serving with a ministry in Mindanao, and two serving with a ministry in a community near the dumps in Manila.
