I have not been very good about blogging lately…forgive me! The last week or so has been a little crazy. At the end of the first week I felt as though I was getting a bit of a cold, and a few days later it turned into body aches and a fever. Needless to say, I spent a lot of time in bed and little time out in ministry the beginning of last week. It was Thursday before I was really feeling like myself again which was more then a little frustrating for me. Fortunately, God used that time to stretch me and challenge me not to accept defeat. I found myself spending more time in the word and interceding for my team and the squad while lying and resting in our room.
The ministry I have fallen in love with this month is actually the ministry to my team. I adore the kids at the Children’s Home and the women at Samaritana, but the Lord has placed a sincere soft spot in my heart for the 6 beautiful, Godly women on my team! I continue to pray that the Lord will give me His eyes and His heart for each and every one of them. Watching them in ministry this month has brought me great joy. I can see them falling more in love with the Lord daily and it warms my heart. As their love for Him grows, mine does too! I am looking forward to the ministry opportunities that lie ahead for us. God is going to rock this team and He is going to do some crazy ministry through us-some of which has already begun!
