Whew-It is hard to believe that a week has gone by so
quickly. We arrived safely in Kenya last
Sunday. We spent our first five days in
Kijabe at Moffet Bible College in where we debriefed our month of ministry in
China and received more teaching from fellow squad members and Michael Hindes.
November was a month of growing intimacy both for our team
and for me personally. It was made even
more apparent to me in the past month that the Lord is calling me to a more
intimate relationship with Him. When I
left for the race at the end of September, I anticipated this year being series
of divine appointments-with others and alone with the Lord; however, I had no
idea the Lord would penetrate my heart the way He has.
I fell in love with the couple we worked with in China, and
I am quickly falling in love with the couple we are working with here in
Kenya. Everywhere we go, it is confirmed
through our contacts that our time with them truly is an answer to prayer. Ministering to them and the communities they
are working in is a blessing beyond words!
I hope that you will keep our teams as well as our contact
Pastor William and his wife Pamela in your prayers this Holiday season. I’m overflowing with excitement to see what
the Lord has in store for us here with Pastor William and his ministry in
Kenya. It is bound to be a holiday
season beyond words.
My love to all of you!
