What does a closed country look like? A country in which only 9% of the population are Christians and even less practicing evangelicals? A country that is governed by an Islamic rule tainted by scandals and unjustice? A country where it is illegal to speak of Jesus aloud and dangerous to dare to share the gospel? Do you picture violence and guns and omnious images?
But what does a closed country look like through the eyes of Christ?
It looks like peaceful serenity……………
the majesty of His creation……………
the wonder of nature…………..
the innocense of a child…………….
the love a smile holds………….
the joy still found within the soul of a child…………
God still sees His people. He still sees their souls. He still longs to hold their hearts. When the Father sees a closed country, His heart breaks for the lost within its walls. He sees no government, He is subject to no earthly laws. He sees His people. He loves His people. He wants His people.
So pray that eyes will be open…. That the people of Malaysia will come to know Jesus Christ as their Lord and that your eyes will also be opened, to see the way God sees and love the way Christ loves.
