Attitude of Gratitude

Gratitude to me means being thankful, counting your blessings, noticing simple pleasures, and acknowledging everything that you receive. It means learning to live your life as everything is a miracle, and being aware on a continuous basis of how much you’ve been given. How God loves you so much that He has continually blessed you with the things you have. Gratitude shifts your focus from what your life lacks to the abundance that is already present

I have been continually blessed by God with He gracious gifts in my life. I am blown away daily by His hands at work in my life. His truth holds faithful as He never lets us down and is always faithful in His promises in our lives. I don’t always see what He is doing in my life and I have often question Him on what is going on but He has never failed me or left me in the dust. As I move forward in my faith through action He moves with me in His faithfulness. There have been many times when I have lost my faith in situation not know how in the world I would see something work out but it always amazes me when I get to the other side and can finally see what work God has done. This week alone I have been blown away by the doors that have been opened to me.  Since May I have been working on trying to do fundraisers and talk to people about what God is doing in my life with the World Race. It was not until this past week that I have seen Him come through for me.

I was able to meet a great group of woman on Tuesday to talk to them about the WR and what God is doing in my life. It was an amazing feeling talking to them about it all. I have been so scared to put myself out there but I have to remember that it is not for me but for my God who is doing the work in my life. I have three other groups I will be speaking at this month, a car wash next Saturday and a fundraiser coming up.

As I maintain an attitude of gratitude in my life, I keep my focus on the blessing God has given me. What I think I lack becomes no longer true because I lack nothing. I am so grateful for the gracious hearts that have helped me along this journey and helping me to get to the field. I am overjoyed by the love of people who stretch their hearts out to help one another. Thank you Lord for your great work in my life and seeing me through everything.
