My name is Jessica McKenzie Keown.
I love Jesus.
I have an amazing family.
I love travelling and road trips. I’ve been to 38 states, 34 of them in a car, and one other country, Honduras, twice.
I went on a mission trip every spring I was in college. Honduras twice, Hawaii, Southern California, and Baltimore.
I gutted houses in New Orleans, and loved it.
I volunteer with a youth group I used to intern with. JH and HS kids are extremely frustrating, but when they finally get it, it’s all worth it. I love spending time with them.
I graduated from Whiting Community School (Iowa) in May 2004.
I graduated from Nebraska Christian College in May 2009 with a BA in Youth Ministry.
I work two part-time retail jobs. I hate commercial holiday season. This year was hopefully my last one. 🙂
I recently realized that I have become comfortable with my life.
I don’t think God called us to be comfortable.
World Race is going to stretch me beyond anything I can imagine, and I’m unbelievably excited.
