One week ago I said goodbye to 65 of the most incredible people I have ever met.
After spending the next week visiting friends in Kentucky, I’m finally home, and have been processing for the last several days. My blog page has been pulled up in my internet browser, but where do I find the words to express all that happened at Training Camp?
I suppose I could start with the one person who showed up and showed off in ways I never imagined. Ya’ll have heard about him, goes by the name “ruach” or “pneuma,” or as we like to say: Holy Spirit. I firmly believe that EVERYTHING that took place at Training Camp was ONLY accommplished because of the powerful workings of the Holy Spirit.
*65 young men and women do NOT become family in 10 days without the thread of ruach joining us all in Spirit.
*A couple hundred people do NOT stand on furniture to declare the truths of God without the conviction of pneuma moving inside our very beings.
*Twenty young men do NOT surround women they’ve known less than a week and cover them in prayer and encouragement and protection, reminding them that they are daughters of the King and worthy of honor without first acknowledging the power of the Holy Spirit in their own lives.
*People are NOT able to throw off chains that have bound them for YEARS, NOT able to forgive those who have deeply wounded and scarred, NOT able to be healed from the pain and the grudges without the intense comfort and healing brought only through relying on the Spirit.
No. Don’t tell me that what I experienced at camp is anything insignificant, anything less than the Holy Spirit, the ruach, the pneuma, the all powerful BREATH OF GOD. My Holy Spirit is no longer dead, useful only to the NT apostles. The Holy Spirit is alive inside of me, and I have seen His manifestation in the lives of over a hundred individuals.
