A Proverb.
Written by Jessica Keown in Tanzania depicting each month on the Race.
Jesus is more than a written plan
and you go where He wants.
It is better to eat little and share
with the hungry than to grow fat.
Living in humble abodes will
lead you closer to humility.
Beautiful places were made for our joy
and God is glorified by them.
A Coke at a bar is worthwhile if
sharing Jesus is the priority.
One cannot eat too much food
when in hospitable company.
Riding bikes to ones ministry enhances
the experience and makes one sweaty.
Sun in the morning, rain in the afternoon,
Do what you can when you can.
Wisdom does not only reside in loud men,
truth comes in silence.
God can take what seems dark and scary
and make it beautiful.
God reigns in the chaos
as well as the calm.
What an amazing 11 months I’ve been blessed with this year! At the beginning, we began praying that each new month would be better than the last, and God answered that prayer. Each month has been progressively better, and we’ve continued to learn. I couldn’t have picked a better country and ministry to end on, and stories from that will be coming soon!
