Yes. I just stole the title from the magazine on the coffee table in front of me. It doesn’t have much to do with this blog…except that in general, life outside the US (including India) is just that. Simple.
India was amazing. It’s everything I expected India to be, and more!
If you read one of my last blogs, you know that I worked in a village in rural India for our last month. I was put in charge of children’s ministry and really enjoyed it! The kids know my name. They ran up to me everytime I was outside our house, and yelled for me when I’m inside the house. I was kinda a big deal.
We’re also did a lot of evangelism. We shared the Gospel. We spoke against the Hindi culture of polytheism. We played the traditional Indian games. We taught people that God is the only way and the only God. We pray for people’s hearts to be opened to the truth. For decisions to be made. For healings. And it’s happened! God is moving! People were interested in what we share. Decisions are being made. Healings are occurring! And it was so exciting to be a part of it!
The video posted above was created by 2 very talented squad-mates and kind of shows you what our life is like in the village. We have baptized three men (which is incredible, as men are the least likely to step out in such faith). We’ll need $2000 to build a church, but land has been donated and there is a preacher in the village.

Please consider donating to this. This just goes to show that the Race never truly ends. Just because we’re not physically present in India doesn’t mean we can’t impact it any less! Let’s see what God can do when we trust Him with something so awesome from so far away!
