It’s been a while since my last post!  Life is going well!  I survived one of the mildest winters I’ve ever seen in Nebraska, only had to drive in the snow once!  (The other three snowstorms we got, I lit a fire in the fireplace and stayed inside…once for 3 days)!  I recently just got hired at a small bakery/coffee shop (precisely what I hope to one day open myself), and I’ve loved the one day I worked so far!

Oh, and I’m going back to HONDURAS!
June 25-July 3, 2012, I’m helping lead a group of 13 high school students to Tegucigalpa, Honduras to work alongside Jim and Teri Riley.
This will be my 4th time to Honduras.  I can honestly say I never saw that one happening!  It’s such a blessing to be  able to plan and execute a trip like this!  Also, after all of my international travel experience, I’m excited to be a part of all of the experience with the other people on my trip!  This will be the first time I get to lead, and be in charge of a trip like this.  I look forward to seeing the growth and change in these kids lives, and my own, as God continues to move!

I know it’s still 3 months away, but I would like to ask you to start praying.  Pray for the students, that they would be open to the experiences they will have, and the people they will meet.  Pray for the people of Honduras, that they would have open hearts to hear what we have to share.  Pray for Jim and Teri Riley as they prepare to host us and do ministry with us, as well as their continued ministry in Honduras!

Did I mention this trip costs money?  We’re asking the students and sponsors to each raise $400 on their own.  Obviously, that doesn’t even cover half of a plane tickets, not to mention food, lodging, transportation, and ministry supplies in Honduras!  So we’re trying to raise $15,000 as a group, through various fundraisers, and such.  I know God supplies.  He funded my entire squad at $14300 a piece, and has done so for so so many other people!  So pray that he would provide the funds necessary to get us to Honduras, so that we can do His work there.  Pray that God would lead people to give with willing hearts, and be open to the possibility that maybe that person is you!

If you do feel lead to give, please send a check/cash made out to Jessica Keown to:

Thanks so much for your support in the past, and the future!  Love you all!
