Several things to hit on here, but I’ll keep them brief!
1. I leave in less than two weeks! It’s sneaking up-but refer to my previous blog for more on what’s going on there. 🙂 AH!
2. THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU! I can’t say it enough! Family, friends, acquaintances, church members and my youth group! Your passion and support for my experience on the World Race has not been overlooked. 10 months ago I was terrified at the thought of raising the funds necessary for this trip. Here I stand, FULLY FUNDED!!!!! THANK YOU for listening to God’s call on your heart. THANK YOU for giving. THANK YOU for your love and support in all areas regarding the race. I can never truly express how much you all mean to me!!!!
3. Though I’m fully funded, let me introduce you to someone very important to me:
This is Shaun Frederickson. He applied for the World Race a couple days before Training Camp in July. This young man is just overflowing with a passion for his God and Savior. I only spent a few days really getting to know Shaun, but God wasn’t messin around when He put Shaun on the same team with me. Shaun is unashamed and unafraid to share his faith and what God has done in His life, and is truly an inspiration for me and the rest of my team. HOWEVER-seeing as how he applied so late in the year, Shaun’s facing the incredible task of raising support on hyper-speed. Unlike me, who had 10 months to raise support-Shaun’s working on 2 months. He has full faith that God will provide, and I have no doubt that God is going to come through, but that might only happen if you let God use you! So, I plead with you that if you were wanting to support me, support Shaun, and God will not let it go unseen.
