2. I have a hard time resisting purchasing items i see on infomercials (i.e. The Magic Bullet, and the Shamwow towels.) But everytime I get close enough to buying anything I talk myself out of it. Probably cuz I’m cheap.
3. Sometimes I eat marshmallow fluff from the jar by the spoonful.
4. I used to HATE barbecue sauce…now I eat it on almost everything…but I’m still a super picky eater. Guess I’ll get over that relatively quickly.
5. I graduated in May, and I’m still letting God lead the direction in my life, to 11 countries in 11 months. 🙂
6. My brother is in the Air Force. I’m super proud of him, and will be visiting him in March.
7. I have a sister who I met for the first time when I was 19 years old…but she’s truly amazing, and talented, and a huge nerd, just like the rest of our family…and her husband is cool too…not her dog though.
8. I have been listening to the new Carrie Underwood CD since they introduced it to me at Borders, playing it on the speakers for 2 weeks…2 months ago….
9. I love traveling. My goal is to eventually get to every state in the USA, as well as all the major sites in Europe, Asia, Africa and South America.
10. I collect postcards from everywhere I go, and love getting them from other people when they go places.
11. I also collect travel mugs and souvenier cups, and decks of cards.
12. I love reading, lots of different stuff. Some of my favorites are Ted Dekker/Frank Perretti fiction, Erwin McManus, and Francis Chan, I’m reading Wide Awake by Erwin McManus right now and loving it.
13. I have a love/hate relationship with running and exercise.
14. There are very few things that really get my blood boiling, but if you know me, you know what they are.
15. I don’t plan on living in the midwest for the rest of my life. The 5 months that can be considered winter (depending on the year) make me want to live in the southwest where it doesn’t snow, except for the random freak storms, which might make me appreciate it more.
16. I have a wide selection of movies in my collection. I like Braveheart and Gladiator just as much as the next person, Sound of Music is always on the top of my movie lists, and I have a plethora of chick flicks…
17. I have a bad habit of buying a movie from Walmart’s $5 bin almost every time I go there.
18. Born and raised a Husker fan, but my life doesn’t revolve around if they win or not.
19. I like to contemplate the what-if’s in life, realizing that I could be a completely different person in a completely different place, and I’m so thankful to be where I am.
20. Did you know you can become lactose intolerant? Because you can.
21. I love learning new things, and thinking deeper on old things…atleast anything but math.
22. I graduated Valedictorian of my class in high school….my class had 30 people. 🙂
23. I love playing my guitar, I just wish I was better at it.
24. A small part of me truly believes that Jesus will come back before I die.
25. The World Race is so far from anything I would normally do, which is why it has such a huge draw for me. I’m pumped!
