No one likes the feeling of needing help, and I would certainly be one of the first to put my name on that list. When applying for the World Race, I sat down and tried to come up with as many plans as possible to avoid the big F … fundraising.
When asking people for help there is always the possibility of being rejected so I tend to avoid it, but to ask someone for financial support that fear for me pretty much quadruples! God kept telling me over and over that part of the reason He was calling me to the field was fundraising, that I needed to give up control of aspects in my life especially money. I needed a BIG reminder that nothing I have is mine rather it is all His that everything is already provided but, I must trust and believe that He will first.
It was scary giving up the ability and choice to provide for myself; leaving me with the only option to trust God completely. Trust that the $17,017 is already there and He is moving in the lives of those He has called to give in order for us to live out the calling He has for us on the field. I trust God. I trust the vision He has casted for this year and for my life. I trust that through Him my needs will be met.
Three of the amazing women on Team Ahava Chara are already Fully Funded! Praise the Lord for that. That means four of us are still tackling the emotional rollercoaster of fundraising. I am blown away that God has already provided $108,877 for Team Ahava Chara to be on the field and that the remaining collective balance our team needs of $10,242 is in no way a hurdle for Him.

I am only $200 away from reaching my past due deadline (February 28th) and only $4,217 from being fully funded!!! I have graciously been given till the end of March to reach the February deadline of $13,000, but my goal is to have that done by this Friday! If you feel you are being called to give all you have to do is hit the orange “Donate” button at the top of my page. Other ways you can help are by sharing my blog to allow God to use it as a tool to move in the hearts of people I may not know but, that He has the intentions to partner with in making staying on the field possible. Please, please, please keep praying; your prayers are felt and beyond needed. For those who have supported and continue to do so there truly aren’t enough thank you’s to honestly express my heart for you and the appreciation I have for you helping me get this far. Your belief in the mission God has called me on and your belief in me is so humbling. Thank you for giving me the opportunity to be a vessel for the Kingdom, I am honored to have your support and the experiences and memories the Lord has provided up to this point which have completely blown me away that He thought I was qualified to be here and serve Him in this way.
Mikayla is bold and on fire for the Lord; she is someone you just look at and know she is special. Michelle, our fearless leader! Goodness there are so many amazing things to say about this compassionate and loving soul! God truly blessed our team placing her at the front. I have loved watching her grow into boldness with her faith and having a no non-sense attitude about people knowing and understanding the Truth. Michelle has the ability to make you laugh under any circumstance as she exudes joy from her core … and has killer dance moves! Katie Sparks!!! This girl right here is amazing, she is the definition of pure love. Our team is so blessed to live life with her for so many reasons. The Lord gifted her with the voice of an angel and a passion for worship that brings so much joy to our ministries.
