on saturday we had a day off. except none of us really rested that much. i went with a few people to go look for monkeys. we started walking and about 8 or 9 kids just came with us. it was a lot of fun. they were pointing things out to me and telling me about stuff. of course i didnt know what they were talking about most of the time, but sometimes we got it all figured out. we didnt see any monkeys so i was kind of sad about that but i did get to get on some random guys horse. thanks to corey. there were fields of cocoa bean trees (i guess thats what you call them) .
i cant think of anything more beautiful than fields of chocolate.

i got to taste some cocoa beans that were not all the was ripe yet. they were white and slimy….but very good. really sweet. that night we came into town and had pizza. it was also really good. we ate off of pieces of wood.

sunday we had two services. the first one was in a village and i did the kids stuff. lots of fun. except corey only stayed to help interpret for a little while then i was on my own. so we played duck duck goose for a long time and simon says (kind of) then i just took pictures of them and showed them. they enjoy that a lot. then we had a service at the church we are staying at. today we went to a village that we were at last week and went door to door and prayed for people and invited them to a service tonight. for the service laura and i dressed up as clowns with a guy from the church here and played with the kids.

yeah…my plan was to dress up like a clown so that i didnt have to look at it (they really freak me out) but my plan failed. then they did dramas and of course laura did the dramas with them. then after the service a man came for prayer and he excepted Jesus. praise the Lord!!!! not many people came though…..it has been raining most of the day and it rained all through the service. this is my favorite weather right now. it is warm and raining. it is really beautiful.

please be in prayer for this village and the kids there. leave me comments…..they make me happy 🙂

Shalom
