Who am I? Now that is a good question.

I am the daughter of David and Diana Fischbach. The sister of Christina Fischbach. The grand daughter of Dave and Judy Linke and Frank and Gretchen Fischbach.

I am a recent college graduate who had the crazy idea of leaving my life behind in Michigan to pursue a new adventure in San Diego, California. For the past two years, I have been working at Solana Beach Presbyterian Church as a Young Life Church Partner.

Throughout this time, I have grown to love many students, parents, and friends. While the decision to leave has been  difficult, I know that I am being called on an amazing journey. I am confident that the past two years have been necessary preparation, for I have have had many opportunities to develop as a leader and a speaker. I am thankful for the individuals who have continually offered encouragement as I have discovered my desire to serve international next year!

Just a few snapshots:

I am a people person to the core and I crave situations that allow me to meet lots of new friends, but I also love deep and genuine conservations one-on-one.

I like to think of myself as a creative person. I love to express myself through photography, video, writing, singing, acting, dance. My life is my stage and each day a new page in my book.

I believe that God created sunsets as a special gift for me and in my world there is nothing better than sitting at the beach with a glass of wine watching the sun go down.

I live a life fueled by passion. My passions include, working with kids/students, serving those in poverty, international mission, loving on individuals with special needs, and developing meaningful relationships with a wide variety of people.

I enjoy the city, but I am a country girl to the core. Put on some county music, I will slap on my cowboys boots, start some line-dancing, and I will be happy for hours! My country roots also means that I love sleeping out under the stars, getting dirty, cooking food over a fire, and I would be perfectly happy traveling everywhere by four-wheelers and snowmobiles.

I feel the most alive when I am outside experiencing the beauty of God's creation! Torch Lake (in Michigan) is my favorite outdoor place in the world (but the Tuscan countryside in Italy is a close second). However, I don't discriminate: I love the ocean as much as I love cornfields, and mountains as much as flat desert.

All I want to do with my time on earth is serve God and serve others, I am letting God lead me wherever he want me to go.
