Day 191: Today we had a prayer walk through the city with the Pastor and several other church members. We ended our time of prayer on the top of a hill over looking the city. Afterward, Lydia and Adriana took us to get our hair cut.

Day 192: We spent the morning walking around town and met several shop owners who speak English. In the afternoon we hosted a small group bible study at our apartment and in the evening we attended a prayer meeting at Pastor Dragon’s house.

Day 193: We spent the day fasting together as a team. Amaris (our team leader) and I had our one-on-one in the morning and then we had team Bible Study after lunch. In the afternoon we met up with members of the church to do another prayer walk around town. We prayed over schools, government buildings, parks, the industrial center, Orthodox churches, and the hospital.

Day 194: I spent most of the afternoon with Alex (Lydia’s son) helping him with college research. He is looking forward to attending university in the United States and hopes to attend seminary after he get’s his Bachelors degree in writing. In the evening we attended a service at the church and spent time after the service praying in small groups.

Day 195: Day Off. Our team took the bus one hour into Belgrade (the capital city) and we all came back changed women. Britni, Shannon and I got tattoos, Maggie and Amaris got their hair cut/dyed, and Kat got a manicure. The city was beautiful, especially at night.

Day 196: Spent the day preparing for youth group in the evening. I gave the talk, Maggie organized worship, Shannon led prayer, and the other girls were in charge of games. Afterward, Britni and I had worship practice for church tomorrow and then we had a sleepover with Adriana and Milleana. We stayed up late into the night playing games, decorating cookies, painting nails and watching movies.

Day 197: Three of my teammates left early in the morning to go with Pastor Dragon to preach in two different villages. Myself, Britni, and Shannon stayed in town and got to spend the day with Adriana and Milleana. In the evening we had church followed by a meeting to schedule ministry activities for the week.

Day 198: Our squad leaders (Sara and Chrin) arrived today. We had worship in the morning followed by team time. In the afternoon we went to meet Lydia’s coworkers and then had a prayer walk around town. After the prayer walk Alex and I spent several hours researching English tests, visa information, and funding opportunities.

Day 199: This week we are going to the hospital in pairs to pray for the sick. Today was Shannon and Amaris’ day to go. Afterward we all met up and went to Memorial Park with other members of the church to hold a worship session. Chrin and Sara played the guitar while the rest of us talked to people passing by and invited them to church.

Day 200: I can’t believe it is already day 200! Today I went to the hospital with Maggie. Sadly we were asked to leave and return with a letter stating our purpose for wanting to be on hospital grounds. According to the hospital, the priest from the Orthodox Church already prays, so they don’t need more people praying. We also returned to the park at sunset to sing worship and shared the Gospel with one of the park guards.

Day 201: Today we were fasting as a team until dinner, to focus on prayer for family and friends back home. I spent most of the morning doing college research with Alex. In the afternoon, we returned to the park to do evangelism and spent almost an hour sharing the Gospel with a family. We gave them all New Testaments and they came to church with us tonight. After church Alex and I went back to the Cafe to call mom and dad.

Day 202: Day off. Most of us went to Belgrade for the day. Sara and Chrin got tattoos, we did some shopping and ate sushi for dinner. We also walked for several hours…my feet are killing me.

Day 203: Pastor Dragon told us that he was taking us fishing in the morning, but surprised us with a visit to ancient ruins of a Roman military camp. Afterward, we went to a park on a river and hung out for a few hours (ate BBQ for lunch, fished, played tennis, and did cheer stunts!). In the afternoon, we had coffee at a church member’s house and heard the testimonies of her and her husband. At night we had youth group. I gave the talk and we spent almost 30 minutes attempting the human knot.

Day 204: Shannon, Britni, and I went with Pastor to visit a house church. We all shared our testimonies and Kacha (Pastor’s wife) shared the message. When we were leaving one of the little girls held a sign up for us in the car window. We had coffee at a second house and then returned for the main church service.
