Day 15 (Part 2): Although I already posted two pictures from church Sunday morning, I couldn't pass up the opportunity to share our team Balut (fertilized duck egg) eating experience. One of the many times I have been thankful to be a vegetarian.

Day 16: Our team spent the majority of the day doing physical labor… in 90 degree heat and 200% humidity.

Day 17: The night before our water tank ran dry. We had been blessed with running water for showers after our long days of work, but this night we were left to wash off our sweat in the creek.

Day 18: We spent the morning doing physical labor. In the evening we attended a wedding with Pastor Al and his family. For more on the wedding (a must read) check out the blog post "Heartbreaker in the Philippines"

Day 19: We spent the day preparing for the prayer service that night. Our team led worship, then Pastor Al shared a message.

Day 20: This was our day off for the week. We spent the morning on the internet, then headed to the bank and White Beach (for shopping) in the afternoon. On our way home we spent some time talking with a few of the bracelet makers (there are over 700 of them total) and also met the family members of Angelica (one of the kids we work with).
