Day One: Said goodbye to Dad, Mom, and Christina early in the morning. Flew to Atlanta to meet up with Kip, Kathryn, Matt, and Nick!
Day 2: Spent the day in Macon relaxing. We also buzzed Matt and Nick's heads.
Day 3: Shopping for last minute needs at Bass Pro Shop and REI.
Day 4: Met up with the rest of Z Squad at the Atlanta Airport and headed to "Little Mexico" in Gainsville, GA for our last two days of training.
Day 5: Eating in the U.S. on $6 a day is hard… thank goodness for rice and beans!
Day 6: Taking a break after a training session for handstands in the parking lot is a must.
Day 7: The morning we left for the Philippines, our Squadmate Britni got baptized!
Day 8: We made it to the Philippines.. with all of our bags!
Day 9: Went of a tour of Kids Internation Ministries in Manilia
Day 10: Arrived on Mindoro Island. Rode to our ministry "Threads of Hope" via Jeepney. And Yes.. I do have a pet monkey!
