I have titled my World Race blog "A Life Less Ordinary" based on a song performed by Chelsee Oaks (a singer who grew-up near my hometown).

“I want a life that takes me places, different stories and different faces… it's getting tough to tolerate the same routine, If I have to keep living with me. I want a life less ordinary, I want to tan in January, I want to be a little more daring. I want a love that's legendary, a heart that's far less cautionary, I want a life less ordinary."

I feel that this song describes the life God has created us to live.

This is my plan… to watch every sunset I can, to take risks (both in love and life), to go the extra mile to help a friend, to jump off bridges and out of planes, to sing and dance until I lose my voice and I can no longer stand, to have coffee and deep conversations with friends, to travel the world and serve others every step of the way…

The book of Colossians says: "Whatever you do, in word or deed, do it all in the name of the Lord Jesus." – Colossians 3:17

… that is my plan.

God Bless,
