Dear Tulsa,

I have so much to thank you for that my heart can barely handle thinking about leaving. Everyday I’m faced with the thoughts of leaving these people, these memories, and this community. Everyday my heart breaks a little more at the thought of leaving. I could write about you for days and days, but what my heart wants to say is thank you.
You raised me up from a scared little girl to a woman.

You brought a new light I never thought I’d see again.

You gave excruciating challenges that made me grow.

You won my heart with your many hipster coffee shops.

You surrounded me with a beautiful group of people.

You educated me on my future, past, and present.

You showed me what true vulnerability looks like.

You taught me it is okay to cry when I’m hurt.

You gave me many second chances.
You let me build a home here.
