Ephesians 2:10 "For we are God's masterpiece. He has created us anew in Christ Jesus, so we can do the good things he planned for us long ago."

Masterpiece- Someone's greatest piece of work. Anything done with mastery skill.

I am God's MASTERPIECE. Let me soak that in for a minute. An artist makes their pieces so intricate. Everything is placed in the most PERFECT way while the artist disects every single detail. They keep creating, molding, shaping the piece until it is perfect. They make sure to spend intentional time with the piece alone. There are no cracks, flaws, imperfections, in the eyes of the artist. They feel honored, happy, excited, and cherish the artwork that they will do anything to protect it and keep it safe through all circumstances. They will put ropes around the artwork, put it in a case, do whatever to keep it from breaking. This is who I am in the eyes of God, the biggest artist/creator of the entire universe.

As I stood in awe, sitting on the lake in Guatemala looking at the volcano in front of me, the depths of the water, the city lights, the clouds, stars, trees, lightening, the moon, trees, and more..to think that those are amazing, a beauty to stand in such a perfect creation from God, the artist blows my mind.

Then there's me. Really nobody special. But the fact that he spends time with ME intentionally; my body, face, hair, eyes, smile, fingers, every cell in me has been perfected. God finished and stands in awe of seeing no imperfections but thought only of how He is going to continue to mold, shape and spend time with me. I imagine Him standing there, looking at me, and saying "There she is, My MASTERPIECE. I can now protect her from all harm with my arms wrapped around her with my full and complete armor of protection, and there is nothing she can do about it."

God, thank you that I am perfectly made. I am honored and humbled that the God, artist of the universe spends intentional time with me and you care so much to keep me wrapped in your armor under your unfailing, loving arms.
