Everything is just a whirlwind right now! Time is flying by.  I just road tripped back from Los Angeles to Seattle and drove all my belongings with me.  It is weird because I am living with my family again , in their backyard.  It's in an office my dad built years ago.  I think it is nice I am home for a few short months in order to save money, it is soooo close to work, and everything I need, and my family is so very supportive.  It makes it so much easier to be home when I know it is a temporary thing.

I also just started my job back at my old salon last week!  It has been amazing!  I called my old boss, Rick, about the new journey (of the world race) I am doing and he thought it was amazing.  I said "well, I was calling to tell about my new journey  and because…."  My boss then stops me and says, "because what?  You tryin to work?"….I was like "welllllll.."  He then stops me again and says.." Jess I would love it if you worked with me again."   Man, it was such a relief.  He assumed I still had a key to the salon and told me to start whenever I wanted right when I got back and work whatever schedule.

So, I started last Tuesday and it has been amazing just to be there. smiley I now work there 3 times a week, Tues, Thurs, and Saturdays.  Every hair service that I do and all the proceeds go straight to support me on the world race in September.  Every day has basically been a celebration seeing old friends and clients, as well as co-workers (friends and family).  I absolutely love it!!

Today was amazing!  Each day I pray for opportunities and divine appointments in my every day life.  I had a client, who is new in the area.  I was telling her about the world race and she thought it was amazing.  She then began to tell me about her life and how she had been looking for a new church, has a 2 year old grand daughter, and that she was going to take care of some health issues in order to keep her healthy throughout her life so she didn't give up hope.  I felt like it was the perfect time to ask if she wanted prayer.  So there goes nothing….I asked if she didnt mind me praying for her.  She loved that idea, and with her color processing in her hair and sitting in my chair at the salon, I got to pray for this woman for her next step in life.  It really was amazing.  She is also coming to one of my breakfast fundraisers and bought 4 tickets from me =)  What a blessing.

Anyways…I know God is working in so many different ways right now and I am just so blessed to be working/fundraising at my salon right now a few days a week =)  Thank you to the Hair Lounge in Federal Way!  If you ever want to get your hair done…and donate to a great cause..you know where to go =)smiley
