Thoughts:
I love!!!!!!!!!!! and am in love with the way the world race is structured. The priority of the World race is relationships! You can see the different dynamics of how this comes into play through people’s vblogs and what they write about while on the race. WHY is this such an important factor?
It’s so important to me because it shows the heart behind what we are about.
Traveling to the different countries is not the goal, it’s more so the means to an end, in reaching others. It’s a BIG part of the WR! It IS the WR, otherwise we could just volunteer for a year here in the states. What’s the difference? The perseverance it takes to stay in the Race; to live amongst a different culture. To NOT be so comfortable with being able to speak english to every person on the street. To not have what you’d normally have right at the edge of your finger tips. There is more of a constant effort every day to serve the community you’re in.
John 15:13 says “Greater love has no one than this: to lay down one’s life for one’s friends.”
On the WR, we’re building friendships, we’re building faith, we’re giving hope.
