This is my lat week here in Haiti, Its been a rough month, but in that there has been so much learning and growing. I leave here on Saturday and head back to the DR for a few days of R & R before traveling to Thailand.
In an earlier post I mention that the Lord had given me a vision about praying over the land, that Haiti had been dedicated to evil in its begininning and in my vision we were to lay hands and speak life and healing into the land. We took a trip to a couple of rural ares for ministry one of wich we were praying over a site for a clinic and that is where I felt the Lord said to pray. We, myself and the other girls currently living in my house all laid hands on the ground and cut off curses, covenants, breaking ties to evil, and spoke life and prosperity over the land. I poured a bottle of anoiting oil out on the dirt and we dedicated the land to the Lord. Later that day the Pastor told us this was the epacenter of the 2010 earthquake. This was not a quincidence, it was the Lord. We all noticed a shift in the atmosphere almost immediatly. I believe God used us to shift things in the spiritual places and that that healing took place here that day.
We have all learned or advaced in our abilitiy to speak life into each other and our environment since being here. Part of that has been out of necessity. The spiritual warfare here has been crazy. When people are literally pacing outside the gate of our house chanting curses, we learn to go to war. We here voodoo ceremonies going on at all hours, there has been darkness seen pearing in on us, sickness has been constant here. Right before I was to preach the spirit of confusion came over me, for about 24 hours I was a mess, some of us got together and prayed and it broke off instantly. The Lord has shown up over and over. Several of the girls had days of high fevers, they went to the Hospital to find a doctor, apparently doctors are non-existant in Haiti and the Hospital was the scariest, shadiest place many of the girls have ever seen, and this was in Port au prince, the capital, so our squad leaders started praying, prophesying and speaking life and all the fevers broke at the same time, there was instant healling and then those who were healed started praying and speaking life to those around them waiting for care, I wasnt actually there but it was an awesome story of how God shows up and changes things.
