I opted not to buy myself souvenirs during this journey. God still made sure I had something to take, keep, and remember from each month I've spent with Him. I researched the symbolic (spiritual & psychological) meanings of my gifts (Each item itself, colors, materials etc.) I also had guidance from above in finding the purpose for each items placement in my life at the time it was placed.
My skirt was given to me the first Sunday I spent in Mozambique. I spent the most memorable and special time (race so far), "under the mango tree" (read the blog), with a group of woman. They gifted me in so many ways beyond the skirt.
METAPHORIC MEANING
SKIRT – represents the signals and hidden messages that you are conveying or sending out. Femininity and your sense of sexuality. An issue you need to confront head on. Need for more leisure time or your desires to escape. BROWN – worldliness, practicality, domestic bliss, physical comfort, conservatism, and a materialistic character. Also represents the ground and earth. You need to get back to your roots. GREEN – signifies a positive change, good health, growth, fertility, healing, hope, vigor, vitality, peace, and serenity. telling you to "go ahead". A metaphor for a lack of experience in some task.

PERSONAL MEANING
SKIRT – during this month I dreamt about each of my ex boyfriends. Every week a different one. I was shocked and knew God was doing something. By the end of the month I made some revelations. God was freeing me of my past attachments. I also spent more time in leisure this month. I chose to sit under a mango tree and devote time to my Bible. BROWN – My views on Love/ Romance were Worldly. Again it's back to God (roots) on this topic. Doing things His way! GREEN – A positive change, good health, growth in my spiritual thinking occurred. The words fertility, healing, hope, vigor, vitality, peace, and serenity … I would gain this month through …. God telling me to "GO AHEAD"… My Baptism happened … I am new in Christ. Lack of experience? … Obviously yes!… I had to surrender my heart's path to Him. He holds all the wisdom, knowledge, and plans now.
