After Lusaka our team hopped a bus to Livingstone, Zambia…home to Victoria Falls, one of the seven natural wonders of the world!  We spent a day visiting the Falls and once again, basking in God’s beauty and majesty.  We even got the opportunity to walk across the top of the falls, peering over the edge where the water rushed down 111 meters to the bottom.  It was breath-taking!  Our guide even took us to a small pool on the edge of the falls where we jumped in and cooled off from the heat of the day.

The next morning we decided to get a little more adventurous and went back to the falls area.  We walked across the bridge to the Zambia/Zimbabwe border and there got a little crazy and jumped off the bridge, free-falling 111 meters!  Bungee-jumping was exhilarating!  Natalie and I did it together and are glad we did.  Video will be available at some point!

We also stayed at back-packing places in Livingstone, and this is where a lot of our “ministry” happened.  I am not very good at talking and building relationships with complete strangers I will only see for a couple of days, but I was impressed with my teammates and how well they are able to connect with people.  I am learning to see how even short and small interactions can make a difference in people’s lives.  I know that I get encouraged by hearing other people’s stories so I hope and pray they get encouraged by mine!
