Never doubt when God will act. One day, in a sweet, little town called Mersing, my teammate, Christie, and I were relaxing at a coffeeshop. She had just recently bought a ukulele and was practicing playing outside. These two women were employees at the cafe and heard us playing so they came outside to listen. At first they were shy and were trying to, slyly, record her playing. Then we asked them to come over and sit with us. They were a little embarassed, but happy. Christie played the song Amazing Love. They said they had never heard it before, but that they loved it. We talked with them for a bit and exchanged facebooks (of course). Then we went on our way. I noticed as we walked away, the girls were still sitting outside, watching us, with big smiles on their faces. It may have been a short interaction, but they both seemed really encouraged by it. I may not ever know the impact my short time spent with them made, or if it even did have an impact on them, but that’s not what’s important. God was honored in that moment and He is so pleased with just that.

Amazing love how can it be

that you my God would die for me

Amazing love I know it’s true

and it’s my joy to honor you

in all I do, I honor you
