My names Jessi and I’m thrilled that you’re here!
Here’s a little about me:
- I’m 21 years old (almost 22- April 23)
- Born & raised in Moline, IL
- Soon-to-be college graduate from the University of Iowa in Iowa City, IA
- Majored in International Studies- Human Rights, with a certificate in Nonprofit Management
- Have two amazing brothers, Kole (11) and Jake (24), two incredible parents, two dogs, Kapone (girl) and Tank (boy), and the most beautiful niece
- I love children and currently work as a nanny
- Jesus has transformed my life through Young Life, both as a student and now, with the chance to serve as a leader to teenage women
- I enjoy reading, listening to music, yoga, hiking, thrifting/antiquing, hammocking, exploring new places, chilling out in coffeeshops or cafes, and spending quality time with friends
- One of my favorite musicians is Ingrid Michaelson
- I love eating and cooking healthy
- I also LOVE ice cream, specifically Whitey’s Ice Cream (Best in the Midwest!)
- I love learning about and immersing myself in different cultures
- I have felt called to international ministry since I was in high school
- I recently studied abroad in Bangkok, Thailand
- I am passionate about social justice, world peace, sustainability, serving others, and empowering people to discover their self-worth and dreams
I’m so excited for this next journey in my life to begin, and to share it with you!
