Hola! My name is Jesse Martinez and you have successfully made it to my blog, bienvenidos!
I recently graduated from Williamson College of the Trades with a focus in Paint and Structural Coatings Technology. I am currently interning with LF Driscoll, a construction management company building the new Comcast skyscraper in Philadelphia.
I grew up in West Chester, PA a part of a great family that has encouraged me greatly throughout the years. I enjoy playing soccer, skiing, photography and traveling. Throughout my college years I have been involved in the Providence Middle School Ministry that has given me much joy and strengthened my passion of working with youth.
As you have probably noticed, I have signed up for the World Race January 2018 route! The countries I will be traveling to are; Colombia, Ecuador, Peru, Spain, Bulgaria, Montenegro, Serbia, Malaysia, Thailand, Cambodia, and the Philippines.
Bob Goff says, “Jesus didn’t want us to just be believers; He invited us to be participants.” I am excited to go and participate in spreading Gods love across the world and taking a leap of faith to be challenged by God to grow in my relationship with Him. I believe this is where God wants me to be, and I am ready to be His hands and feet. I look forward to meeting the church all over the world and serve and live with believers from different walks of life.
This blog will serve as my main form of communication to my friends and family when I am out on the field and this will also be the best way to see the trip through my eyes.
Again thanks for checking out my blog and stay tuned for more in the near future. If you have any questions at all about who I am or what the World Race is, please feel free to contact me anytime at 484-319-3839. God bless!
