Hey friends!  i just wanted to write a quick blog on what has been happening in my life! 🙂

I am officially on the world race! I said goodbye to my family 2 days ago, slowly making my way acroas the country meeting up with squad mates and seeing some fun things like the Golden Gate Bridge, the Lincoln memorial and the White House! But the hole trip hasn’t been peaches and sunshine.

Wednesday morning I said goodbye to my amazing family. I got to my gate and sat down to look at Facebook of course and opened my computer only to find it was BROKEN! Seriously I had just used it that morning there was no way it could have broke, well it was. I flew into Oakland, CA to meet up with Kaycie and the Apple store was so busy they couldn’t look at, plan b the next day we flew to Baltimore to meet Sarah and Mary again no appointments were available. I sat on the bed and prayed, “what on earth am I going to do God, how am I going to live for 11 months with no computer?” And then I felt completely at peace, I had debated not taking my computer right afyer training camp but decided I would. So the next morning as we headed into DC we stopped at a UPS store and my support blanket was sent home.

I am thrilled! Although my computer is broken I feel completely free. The same time I was debating on my computer I watched my  squad mate Sarah shave her head, and I mean all of it! If this girl can shave off all of her hair I can totally go without my computer.

I know in my heart this was all Gods doing and his plan for my World Race adventure. Thank you God for taking control!

So friends, I will have my iPhone to connect to the internet and my awesome team mates said I can borrow theirs if need be. I will be on Facebook, email, and of course my blog.

In other news I am 100% funded! Praise The Lord! Thank you so much to everyone who has donated I could not do it without you!

And now I am an official World Racer and our journey has begun!

Thanks for reading!
