In India, He does not exist.
He is not real.
Get it out of your head because you wont find one true God in this dark place.
gods exist but not God.
You'll find thousands of these gods who have no ears to hear the prayers of the millions praying to them.
They have no eyes to see the distress their followers are in.
They have no arms to wrap around the torn lives of the men and women.
Why serve a god that does not hear?
A god that does not see?
A god that does not comfort you when all seems lost?
These gods have only grotesque faces.
Elephant trunks protruding from their faces.
4 arms extending from their bodies.
Sharp fangs and angry brows.
These fake gods tower high above some buildings,
While others clutter the edges of rooves.
Why serve a god that stares with menacing eyes from its perch on the shelf next to the other gods?
Why serve a god that is said to only mistreat and punish?
Ridiculous if you ask me!
India is littered with said gods and as I've stated, the One True God does not exist.
But today something is different.
We are at a home of a family and I don’t see the gods placed around the room.
I don’t see the shrines, nor the incense, nor the trinkets dangling from the shelves.
No hideous metal objects stare at me from the tables.
I’m not quite sure I understand.
The past three weeks have been spent in countless homes with even more gods placed around the room.
But here today, I see only a picture of Christ on the wall.
I see the bibles on the shelf.
No trinkets on the bodies of the women or child.
Maybe. Just maybe….
A few minutes later the daughter is speaking:
“Once you taste the love of Jesus, you don’t need anything else.”
What??
“I serve God and only God.”
You mean that you only serve one God?
Yep, that’s right!
No other gods?
Nope!
I’ve spent the last three weeks waiting for someone to say that!
Waiting for someone to declare that there is only ONE TRUE GOD and now I’ve heard it.
Now I know that the One True God DOES exist here in India!!!!
I can’t tell you how happy I am!
This woman brought something different to my heart for India.
Something not at all seen in the other homes we've been to!
It brought the knowledge that there is a piece of ground that satan doesnt claim as his own!
It brought the knowledge that there is a bright spot in this part of India!
India has hope and I ask that you please pray and continue to pray!
How good it is to see a heart for the One True God!!!
