Here are the members of my team that I’ll be travelling on the World Race with. Those noble people of Monarch. You’ve heard of Monarch? No? Well, you’re about to and may you never forget those that will fight for the life and freedom of those in bonds.
Women of Monarch
First up, we have Miss Leah Malone. This girl is quite the warrior. She blazes a path with her boldness in God. We made our first memory as a team because she answered the tug she felt from God when she suggested we head to a hospital or retirement home to see about praying for the patients. Besides her boldness, she possesses a gift of spontaneity. She’ll pop an idea out that will stop us in our tracks and thank God that she’s on our team over and over again. Next we have Candice Yates. Also a warrior with her confidence in God and her confidence. Candice has a story that she’s shared with us and it has given us all a compassion for her and a respect for what she will do and bring to the table and how she will bring the Word to the nations. www.candiceyates.theworldrace.org
Michelle Imig. Enough said. A girl who has both that serious side and jokester side to her that we all are looking forward to for 11 months. When it comes to the ability to encourage, this girl will take you from sitting down in the dumps to jumping on cloud 9! And then there’s her jokes. The girl is a walking joke book. When driving down to training camp in GA, I listened to her tell jokes for about 5 hours straight. 5 hours of half funny/half lame jokes. www.michelleimig.theworldrace.org
Last, we have Meagan LaFoy. Also someone we can rely on for boldness, confidence and encouragement, Meagan brings a quiet yet unqestionable stability to Team Monarch. She also has that southern twang that I’m going to enjoy mimicking for 11 months. Please don’t be offended Meagan, because I’m not laughing AT you 🙂

Men of Monarch!
MEN OF MONARCH! WHAT IS YOUR PROFESSION! AHOOO! AHOO! AHOO! We follow these women because that’s exactly what we do. We Provide for these women. We protect these women. We Promote these women.
Justin Orr! He IS the man! As our team leader, Justin is an amazing guy. He possesses compassion like no other. A boldness that will bring truth to those we encounter. A humbleness that makes him the great leader he is. With all that being said, he encourages us to push forward and grow in our personal and collective walks with God. When I told my story to my squad, I heard someone crying in the background, but I pushed it off as a figment of my imagination. When I finished my story, Justin got up and enveloped me in a bear hug while crying. This forever solidified us as brothers. Blood doesn’t make men brothers. It’s men like Justin that declare brotherhood. I go into the field of battle with a confidence in this true man of God. www.justinorr.theworldrace.org
And our final member of Team Monarch is Sam Walter! This man right here is the quietest of us all, but I believe the wisest. If there’s a decision to be made that we’re unsure of, we can always turn to Sam to hear what He has to say. His wisdom is far beyond all of ours and I’m looking forward to seeing that put into action for 11 months. Plus, he can imitate Schmiegel from Lord of the Rings perfectly!
