So you know how the race costs 15,500? and the first deadline is 3,500 by June 29th? well about a month ago my funds were at about 400 is dollars, a far cry from where they need to be. So what did i do? i acted like that mythical 5 year old we all reference and whined that my piggy bank is empty, its not gonna get full bla bla bla bla. But then i got to thinking and praying, sometimes you gotta SHATTER that stupid pig(no piggies were harmed in the making of this blog fyi). By that i mean don't keep worrying about what you have. God provides opportunities for work, handshakes of the Pentecostal variety( where people just randomly bless you with a palm full of money), and tons of other ways of provision.
I can prove it. I was freaking out a month ish ago about meeting deadlines. but since then i have gone from 400 to soon to be 1,700ish. Am i where i need to be? no, but im far from where i was, and im gonna get there. God provides in a variety of ways. No im not cocky, i just know that you gotta remain at peace even when the piggy bank is empty, your backs against the wall, 120,000 phillistines are against you and all you have is a plastic spork. I'll close with this: as ive said before in other posts, God is sovereign regardless, his love, mercy and peace know no bounds, he's got us. To my fellow squad members who are in my shoes, were, or will be, REMEMBER keep calm and trust God.
Ps: The first deadline is june 29th. (24 days away) i must have 3,500 in the race account by then. Please continue to keep me and the other racers in prayer, Pray about supporting us, and continue to read the blogs.
