So most of you know for the last almost two years I have been an intern at the L.A Dreamcenter. June will mark two full years. In this time i have grown from a fresh out of high school kid into a (somewhat) mature decent adult. Still growing, as that never stops but here are some things i have learned/experienced.
1. seeing life in a different way. I have seen poverty on a scale that i haven't seen until i came here. Also people who no matter what there circumstance ALWAYS have a smile.
2. learning to take everything with a grain of salt, that all things are subject to change and sometimes you just gotta roll with it.
3. seeing angels. on at least one occasion i physically saw one in the flesh (his name was paul, its a long story maybe for another post) on another occasion one was present and in front of me though i did not see it(thats a story for another time). in Hebrews 13:2 it talks about being hospitable to strangers and them being angels in disguise.
4. Learning for a fact that God is my protector, that i never once walked or walk alone. No matter what happens, no matter how terrified, fearful, angry, sad, depressed, hurt, or lonesome you get, remember you are NEVER alone. You may be a thousand steps from God but he's one step away from you.
I have learned and experienced more than i can verbalize. The heart growth and internal change is what's happened the most, and you cant see that, you feel that.
