I fly home in two weeks. Dear Los Angeles, i'm gonna miss you like a fat kid miss's the buffet. The Dream center and the city both have transformed me. i have cried, laughed, screamed, cheered, been happy, sad, confused, and sometimes wondering what part of the "cow" the "meat came from. I'm gonna miss all of it.
Things i have learned so far: a free taco preaches louder than a megaphone.
Ice cream truck nachos are sketchy(but tasty).
if it hasn't rained in 6 months, that's not a water puddle.
You can see the hand of God everywhere and where you least expect it.
Sometimes you have to stop looking for a solution and just BE the solution.
Sometimes angels are slightly intoxicated old men with beards
Quickie mart workers are full of sage wisdom
If you park in south central at 2 a.m in a dark street, you may lose your battery(true story)
every now and then Burrito's magically appear out of nowhere
You forget that your favorite taco truck is closed on monday
You pout and stomp your feet when you realize the above
divine appointments happen at seemingly inconvenient times, but in hindsight that "inconvenient" moment blessed you exponentially more than you could have imagined.
Love is a language spoken by all
You don't have to relate to be there for somebody.
i have learned and experienced more than i can explain. but one thing for sure is i will never forget this place and journey. im leaping from one season to another one, nowhere to go but where Jesus leads me. and thats AWESOME. until i post again, God bless, may the force be with you, live long and prosper bla bla bla bla.
FUNDS NOTE: In a few days i'll have around 1,700. i need to have 3,500 in the acount by the 29th. So i have 14 days till that has to happen. Please keep me and my squad in prayer, consider donating, Its not for my glory but for God and his kingdom. God bless, Jesse
