Hello and thank you for clicking on my ‘about me’ button! This always seems to be a hard section to fill out…in anything, so…I’ll just give you some basics for now…maybe I’ll feel inspired down the line and spruce it up a bit!
So…
Who am I? My name is Jess and I’m 37! I know I know, I don’t look 37 but believe me, I’m quite wisdomous! ?? I kid! I’m just a fun-loving gal always looking out for adventure. Belle sings it best…”I want adventure in the great wild somewhere”.
Where do I live and where did I come from? Right now I live in Dallas – which I love by the way! I grew up in the small town of Marysville, Kansas with the most amazing family ever! I have 2 brothers, whom I love very very much and 2 wonderful parents who have set such an amazing example for me as to what a relationship with Christ looks like! I am truly blessed by them every day!
What was that, what was my childhood like? Well, when I look back at my childhood, one of the biggest things that sticks out is how much we laughed! …which would probably be why I am the way I am now. I love to laugh but more so I love making other people laugh! I love goofing off and being random, especially if it’s something no one would expect to be done. …a quick little random truth, sometimes when I’m walking, I will purposely try to make eye contact with as many people as I can and just smile at them – not say anything, just smile. I think it’s good for one’s health!…plus I believe that people can see the Jesus shining inside, through our eyes AND our smiles! And also, I really just love smiling, smiling’s my favorite! (yes, that was taken from one of the best movies ever!!)
So what is it that I actually do with my life? Well, right now I work as a meeting and events coordinator for City Electric Supply. I plan all of their internal meetings, events and travel logistics for the North American business. I don’t travel for them very much but I get to set up travel for other people so…that’s a plus! ??
What do I like to do for fun you ask? I love two-stepping! If I could do it every weekend, I would! I also really like spending time with my friends, whether that’s doing something fun/crazy/adventurous or just hanging out, talking on the couch – I just enjoy quality time with them! I like movies, photography, music, mini-golf and long walks on the beach… LOL! Just kidding, just kinda felt like I was filling out a dating profile! HAHAHA! Basically, I like to do just about anything, ESPECIALLY when it’s with my amazing friends!
So…yea, I know this was kind of a random ‘about me’ entry but…what can ya do, they always end up that way for me. If there’s anything more you’d like to know, I’m an open book…ask away! 😉
