Dear Friend,

For the past six years I have been working as a preschool teacher at Sacred Heart Preschool in Palm Desert. I teach two and half to five year olds and love the opportunity to have an impact on the lives of young children. As a teacher I have an incredible amount of freedom in the summer to travel. I have used that time to minister in Ecuador and family camping trips over the years. I am always up for the next adventure God might be calling me on.

Let me take you back a little, the year was 2006, I was finishing up a 10 month mission experience in Ecuador that had changed my life forever. In that journey, God taught me a lot about myself. I learned how to be a part of a community and to always trust in God’s plan for my life. Upon leaving, I was really sad to say good-bye but never got the feeling it was forever. Someday God would be calling me back out into the deep.  Fast-forward to the present, over the years I have built up my faith in God and have been surrounded by a band of believers that have cried with me, laughed with and have taught me to keep fighting the good fight. Through one of those believers I was introduced to the World Race. World Race is a program with Adventures in Mission (AIM).  I feel that God is calling me out upon the waters (or the field) again.

The World Race is an 11-month Christian mission’s trip to 11 countries around the world. One of the unique things about World Race is that it’s not only a mission trip but also an intensive discipleship program designed to launch my generation into our specific kingdom callings. Through the World Race, my squad and I will serve the Gospel, plant and support churches, work in orphanages, minister to women and children trapped in prostitution as a result of human trafficking and bring the restorative hope of the Father’s love to many tribes and nations. Unique to the World Race this route will be entirely in South America and our squad will be going to new places for AIM.

Although, I will be leaving for my adventure in August 2016, the adventure starts NOW. There will be many challenges throughout the World Race and one of my greatest challenges is to raise my financial support. Like most other mission organizations, World Race participants are required to fundraise financial support and to develop a team of people that will pray. In order to launch fully funded in August, I need to raise $17,361. Adventures In Missions is a tax-exempt organization under IRS code 501(c)(3) and is a member of the ECFA. (Evangelical Council for Financial Accountability). Due to IRS and ECFA regulations governing the administration of tax deductible donations given in support of a particular trip/program, support contributions given on behalf of an individual will be used to offset the costs of the trip/program you are involved in. All contributions are non-refundable regardless of the participant’s success in completing the program.

Will you consider investing in this ministry? I am praying that God will do the ask in your heart.
