About a month ago I was reading my daily devotional this is what it said,

March 27, 2016

“There is a calling on your life. A great, big, God-sized calling. God has plans for you and has been dreaming about them since before you were even born. You are destined for impact. My heart is racing just thinking about it! If you are reading these words, you have been given a unique, powerful, custom-built platform. A voice. As long as there is breath in your lungs, you have a microphone in your hands. There are things God intends for you to accomplish that no one else has been chosen for. Words he wants you to speak. Actions that speak louder than words. And through it all, he wants you to leave a mark, to put a dent in the universe.”

But you are a chosen race, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, a people for His possession, so that you may proclaim the praises of the One who called you out of darkness into His marvelous light. 1 Peter 2:9

Wow! Me make a dent. This devotion has got me excited, and nervous all at the same time. I am stepping out of my comfort zone, and stepping into something that God has been planning all along. My time in the desert is over, I am CALLED! Me, single women, who to the worlds eye and to my own eyes is not qualified or capable. But that’s what makes it so much better. It’s not in my own strength, or my own power of influence that I will be able to make any changes. But it is through the Power and strength of Jesus, who came and die for ME that I may live abundant life. All I am asked to do is believe and trust in God, Jesus and the Holy Spirit.

As time is getting closer for me to depart, I find myself stopping and looking, trying to see the dents I have left around my community.

Be satisfied with what you have, for He Himself has said, I will never leave you or forsake you. Hebrews 13:5

Take delight in the Lord and He will give you your hearts desires. Psalms 37:4
