L-Squad + Love Squad= oneLofasquad
These men and women, I barely knew before June 8th. But now they are each a part of my family. It’s amazing to me as I listen to each of their stories, on how God brought them not just to the World Race, but to the World Race Expedition South America. Each one of these men and women, God has intentionally given with no question our nickname, the LOVE Squad. This group of people will be pioneering the Amazon River, working in the slums of Colombia, and hiking mountains in Peru, and all while sharing the furious LOVE of Jesus to everyone and anyone that God highlights to us! In the 10 days of us coming together God quickly relieved everything about us and when you first find that much about someone the “normal” response would be to make some sort of judgement. That did not happen in with this group, we created a safe place, and loving atmosphere that was only lead by Jesus hands. Each of us has an important role to play in advancing God’s kingdom in South America, I can’t wait to see Gods plan play out before my eyes.
I looked each of these people in the eyes and told them, YES to 11 months of community living, YES to loving on each other (even when we are hard to love) and everyone we meet, and YES to following Gods footprints as HE leads us through South America!
