We spent last week in Mae Sai living and working at a "drop in center"… This place loves on, feeds and clothes street kids. Most of the street kids are sent to beg on the bridge (the bridge seperates the Thai- Bur?mese border) by their family, or they do not have family and beg to provide for their self.
The biggest lesson I would say I learned from these kids is the art of community. On the race that is one thing we are striving for… to learn what it looks like to live in true community, dependent on one another. They model this every moment… even the 2 year old understood that they were a team and worked together, leaving no one behind.

It was hard to leave them!! They were so loving despite the struggles they face in daily life…

We also traveled into B
Saturday was Kids Day ( Thailand Holiday) so we had maybe 3 times more kids at the center than normal… it was a lot of fun. We played games and did face panting

Sunday Church was a 35ish mile bike ride from Mae Sai to Chiang Saen  that was amazing conversation time with the Lord, yet a struggle physically for me… but I made it and only wanted to cry once or twice. We also took these wooden power boats over to Laos to prey over the area.

We are back in Chiang Mai for a few days of laundry and showers then off to some Karen villages for the remainder of  our time here in Thailand

Here are some pics from the last week… Enjoy 🙂
