So we have settled into our place for the month…
We are staying on the Christian Outreach Center Darwin. Otherwise known as the COC
We are living and working on the property this month, along with helping out at a farm they own aprox 1 hour from the base.
We have finally located a place with free wifi to use, but we have to drive so we still have limited access.
We spent the day Saturday out at the farm, helping (between rainstorms lol) sort food for the pigs, and doing what ever they needed us to do. Despite my extreme lack of farm workings I had a good time.
We even got to see some Kangaroos that roam near the farm.
A few of the animals there especially one of the horses Darcie, and one of the cows Pops are very friendly and act more like house pets than wild animals
This morning we went to church at the COC and I have to admit it was a little strange to understand every word beign spoken and sung.
I will update you all more when we know a little more about how we will be serving at the COC this month.
