1 USD = 30 Baht

                 85 Rupees

                 50 Rupees

               9 Rand

                      8 Lilangeni

             30 Mets

The exchange rate in Thailand is awesome.

It’s similar to the conversion rates we’ve had in Mozambique

so it was nice this month to be able to know in advance

how far my money would go

Let me tell you the things i could have bought with $20 this month:

-9 coffee drinks from the various coffee shops with free Wi-Fi

-30 Song Tew rides throughout the city

-Lots of mentos and fruit for me to snack

-3 new pairs of shorts

-Delicious smoothies that can’t be bought anywhere else

-Fresh pineapple, mango, and mangosteen off the street.

-Beats by Dre headphones

$20 dollars is also all I need to live for 4 days on the race at $5 dollars a day.

It also got us a SUPER SWEET hostel for debrief with AC and Wi-Fi for $5 a night

As you can see….the American dollar stretches far in third world countries.

It’s fun putting to practice my bartering and haggling I’ve acquired the past 6 months at the market places.

Here there are two major markets, Night Bazaar and the Sunday Night Market, where we get all our shopping done.

When street vendors see us American’s they jack up the prices by triple. We then cut the price in half, and usually they accept anything you have if you tell them it’s all you got. Most of the times they know they

jacked it up to high and are willing to take what we offer them.

Besides clothes, internet, and juice, money still stretches when it comes to important things.

Medicines are cheaper. Food is cheaper. Transportation is cheaper

While these things may be cheaper to us, they are still expensive to the people in the community

With that, my squad is able to give more and be more because America truly is a rich, blessed nation.

If you donated $20 dollars or more, you provided me with over 30 bus rides.

These bus rides bring us to new, unreached places so we can spread the love of Christ.

The kingdom is spreading quickly here.

The overlooked are being seen.

Children are being loved.

The gospel being presented in ways people can understand.

My next financial deadline is quickly approaching.

I know God has me on this trip for big reasons.

Any doubts I once had about being on the race are gone as I see God moving in big ways.

This journey has been tough so far, but I know there’s

bigger and better things ahead for me.

Not only is God radically changing my heart,

but the hearts of my team and the children, the lost, the broken, the underserving, the thiefs, the scared mothers and absent fathers, and the villages.

So I ask for your help, for you to be a part of the miracle that will keep me on the race.

-I need $5,043 to be FULLY funded!!-

God provided me with $3,500 in 2 weeks when I signed up for the race

I know it can happen again.

It’s all Gods money, and I have no doubt God will do this.

I am determined to be the hands and feet of Christ around the world.

I’m determined to do and see all God has for me in Cambodia, Vietnam, Malaysia, Romania, and Moldova
