Location number 1: Falesti, Moldova

“Home-base” living quarters was the baptist church building.

Everyday we drove about 30 minutes to one (or both) of two construction sites, we worked on two different “Houses of Prayer” as Pastor Vasilli called them. Digging alley ways into bathrooms and showers, tearing down walls and roofs, clearing the weed covered ground, sifting rock or laying concrete.

On the couple of days we did not do construction we visited the people of the neighborhood/church. Above is Natasha – an 83 year old woman who could barely walk from her bedroom to her kitchen but she had an abundance of encouragement within her heart.

After Falesti we took a train to Chisinau – Moldova’s capital for 3 days to work with the Campus Crusades ministry.

While on campus us girls were invited to one of the students villages 20 minutes away for lunch and a tour of her neighborhood. We were blessed yet again with a homemade meal and authentic love.

Location number 3: Vineyard church of Ungheni

A highlight to the ten days spent in Ungheni was when picked grapes in a 600 year old village at the pastors’ fathers’ vineyard. We were given homemade Placinta bread for breakfast and for lunch we had Zeaman with noodles made from scratch.
