Each day we drove out of a swarmed, chaotic, city into the rural surrounding villages of India.

The Hindu culture was relenting. We passed towering statues, idol worship festivals and even played with children marked by the lie of that religion they were born into.

We were brought to the “Untouchable’s” villages; to walk door to door, praying over the people and give our testimonies and a message in the evening service.

Upon entering the village we would sit in our lawn chair thrones while a crowd would form around us, some would stare while we would play and take photos with the children.

We visited 23 different villages over the month of November. The churches were not always established, some would gather outside on the main street, while others meet upstairs of the children’s home and other villages had a separate building to gather in.

Through the villages we would greet the people with our palms toughing and stating “Wandanalu” meaning “Praise the Lord.”
