Hellooooo everyone! My name is Jessica, mostly called Jess. I am 21 years old and I live in Franklin, NC. I graduated in December from Liberty University with my Bachelors in InterCultural Studies, as booming as the market is for that degree I decided to turn down all prospects of jobs (which would be none) and head from the Burg back to the Mountains. I was recently employed as a Dental Assistant, which leads to the next little tidbit about me, I was supposed to be attending Dental Hygiene School this fall but as I am sure we know now, OUR plans aren't always God's plans, and so here I am, spending the next year of my life serving Him throughout the world.
I always have ideas of what to put in these little info's about 'yourself' but then I start typing and completely forget what I wanted to say, obviously wasn't that important.

A few random facts:
-I LOVE LOVE LOVE Colorado, in fact I was planning to move there asap! (this also means that I love EVERYTHING outdoors, hiking, kayaking, rock climbing, horse back riding, snowboarding, archery (well it happens outside i'm sure i would like it)
-My Christmas gift this year was a Golden Retriever Puppy, his name is Granger and I will probably miss him ALOT (I never thought I could love such a stinky animal so much).
-I am obsessed with Teeth and all oral problems.
-I HATE HATE HATE HATE HATE Mayonnaise and Milk!!!!!
-My favorite food(s) are Chick peas and Edemame!!!!!
-My best friend courtney is on this same squad, not by any of our planning, she ha originally signed up for AIM's immersion program….
-I lived in West Africa, Burkina Faso to be exact (most people have never heard of it) and I absolutely loved it. I spent my time teaching english, and health lessons, working at a Women's center, handing out toothbrushes (5,000 I had brought from the U.S.) at Compassion International centers, as well as working hand in hand with them quite a bit.
-I am fluent in French (thanks to my time in Burkina), though my vocabulary is often quickly disappearing.
-I would love to share with everyone about my Testimony and my family but I will save you some reading time and look forward to some conversations!!!
-I have this saying about myself concerning my hobbies; "I Like EVERYTHING I do…" and sadly it's true. Some of my favorite things are Photography, designing, and cooking. I love antique's and anything vintage. Currently I am learning to sew (quilting more so) which is just another perk of having some free time!
-I am horrible at reading directions, my best way of learning is to be shown.
-I sponsor 4 Children through Compassion International, 2 of which I have met and spent loads of time with in Burkina.
-I have THE most incredible group of friends back home (about 25 in total), we do EVERYTHING together and my life seriously wouldn't be the same without them, they are each very dear to me. (Not to exclude all my incredible friends who don't live here at home with me too, you're AMAZING as well!)
