Welcome to my World Race Blog! I’m so excited that you’re interested in learning more about my journey to 11 countries in 11 months to serve and love in Jesus’ name!

What is The World Race?

Where am I going?

September 2015-August 2016.

3 continents. 11 countries.

Moldova. Romania. Kosovo. Albania.

Mozambique. Swaziland. South Africa.

Colombia. Ecuador. Peru. Bolivia.

What will you be doing?

Each month my team and I will travel to a different country and partner with local churches and organizations to meet the needs of each community while also sharing the gospel.  Each month looks different but ministry may include: construction work, working with children in orphanages, working in feeding centers, working with survivors of sex trafficking, hosting church camps, working with youth or college ministry, leading bible studies, etc.

How can I support you?

1. Prayer! I will need tons and tons of prayer support as I raise the funds necessary to sustain me for the 11 months that I am gone. Pray for me as I fundraise, pray for me as I prepare to leave for the race this summer, and pray for me while I’m on the mission field…I need it all! There is so much power in prayer and I greatly appreciate anyone who is willing to take the time to pray for me on this journey.

*If you want to pray more specifically and intentionally for me throughout this journey, contact me via the “connect with me” button on the left for information on how to join my prayer team!

2. Financially! Y’all saw this coming right? Like most missionaries, world racers are required to raise the full cost of living for their stay on the mission field.  In order to be fully funded (meaning that all travel, lodging, and living expenses are paid for) for the race, I will need to raise $16,267 (Breathe!!). Though this seems like a lot of money, and I definitely can’t do it alone, I know that where God calls He also provides and believe wholeheartedly that the money will come.  If you know me, you know that I believe in the power of community and I know that God’s going to use this fundraising process to reveal how powerful His believers are when they come together for His glory.

If you feel led to donate right now, whether it’s $200 dollars or the cost of a movie ticket, THANK YOU, from the bottom of my heart. Your support is humbling.  You can do so online via the support me button on the left.  You can also donate by check.  If you are doing so, please make the check out to Adventures in Missions and write “for Jeri Brown” on the memo line.  Checks can be sent to:

Stay tuned for more information about fundraisers.

NOTE:The Adventures in Missions deadline to be fully funded is December 31st, 2015.  However, my personal goal is to be 100% funded in 100 days.  That means $16,267 by May 22nd.  This is an EXTREMELY lofty goal. However, I believe we have to take big risks to fully see the glory of a BIG God. I thank you in advance for your love and support.  I can’t stress enough how humbled I am in your belief in me and my calling.

With Love <3
