While during my time of rest here at the Nile, I found it important to really spend time with God and also for strength dealing with changes. I have come a long way in my own life on the race when dealing with changes. I used to be so unsettled by sudden change and even if it was something I could see coming, I never would adjust well. This time there were no rough areas with the transition or change. Praise God that he works to keep us out of the unhealthy stagnant areas of our lives.
We knew that team changes were coming and now they are here. My new team is called 7-eleven because there are seven of us. So that is where the title of this blog comes from. This is a time of transition where we switch up the teams and for me, man-istry month helped lighten the blow of it.
It appears that I am on the largest team in the squad now. Seven people is more than the other ones and I have also never been on a team this big. One thing to keep in mind is letting no one fall through the cracks of community and make sure no one is left spiritually and emotionally unhealthy. It’s exciting times and I am looking forward to doing ministry in at least two continents with them.
