So, if you know anything about YouTube sensations, you
probably have heard the song “It’s Friday� by Rebecca Black. This is probably
one of the most ridiculous songs in the history of all mankind, but there is
something about it that draws me in, and every time Friday has rolled around
over the past month or so, there has been something to brighten my day. Like
any good thing though, her video was not good enough, so I have progressed to
the Jimmy Fallon, Stephen Colbert, Taylor Hicks, and the Roots cover of the
song. Please watch and enjoy. I do have to warn you that there is quite a bit
of ridiculousness in the song, so if you can’t handle it, it may be wise to
stay away.
Although this is quite possibly one of the silliest things I
have come across in my life, it is a subtle reminder to never take life to
seriously. Every Friday, I get to revert back to my 10 year old self and rock
out to this song at least a couple times a day. Hope you enjoy.
P.S.- I intended for this blog to be a little bit deeper,
but I started watching the video and decided that deep and that video really
don’t belong in the same blog.
